Q: Aperture no longer functioning on El Capitan
Double click on Aperture, Opens in Adjustments showing previews of first part of library. Any selection trying to switch to Library tab, minimize screen... results in colored spinning wheel and nothing happens.
Any ideas/solutions appreciated.
Thank you,

Have you updated to Aperture 3.6? That is the only version running on El Capitan. it is working well for me.
Try to narrow down the problem.
- If one of the photos in your library should be causing the problem, Aperture should be able to launch, if you hold down the shift key while launching Aperture. This will defer the generation of previews. Does that help?
- Or the library may have a corruption. Test with a different Aperture library. Hold down the options key while launching Aperture to bring up the library chooser. Create a new library. Can Aperture open a new library?
