Q: How to get activation code to enable text forwarding

I Just upgraded to iPhone 5se. When I attempth to set up text forward it asks for an activation code. Where do I get is code?

iPhone SE, iOS 9.3.1

OS X and iOS continuity allows you to forward texts from your iphone to another iPad or Mac. The code will appear on the device you are forwarding texts to.
