I Got an iPad Air last year All I did was play games on it. Now I realized facetime is missing. Strangely my sister has an iPad 2 and it has FaceTime (wifi only) and my dad has an iPad Air too but his is cellular model, his has FaceTime. I still have the box for my iPad and it shows the FaceTime icon but there is no FaceTime. When I am in the notification center it says there is a face time but no icon on the home screen. Please help

Assuming you didn't buy this ipad in a middle eastern country, see if the link helps,
Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
have you tried going to your contacts and try using facetime that way?
