Q: where can I find keychain files in time machine backup?

Hi,

after some difficulties to restore from Time Machine, finally succeeded after upgrading the ™ with the latest software.

As the data and settings (including the iTunes for example) didn't restore in the right file structure as expected, I managed to restore the data and directories one-by-one from the magic 'T M' (hmmm  hmmm)

The trickiest part is the restore of ALL the accounts settings that are filed under library,

I would like not to re-do all this manual work and find the whole /username/library dir and sub dir's from T M to my "refreshed" MBP

Appreciate any tip to help me to locate the keychain files and other settings

Try looking in your user Library.

In Finder hold down the option/alt key while selecting the Go menu item. Select Library.

If you want to make your user library permanently visible, run the below command in Applications/Utilities/Terminal.

    chflags nohidden ~/Library/
