Q: When I try to sign in to iTunes or iCloud on my iPhone 6s, I get "Verification Failed Your Apple ID or password is incorrect" even when I type the correct password.

As the title says, I signed out of my normal Apple ID to sign into a Japanese iTunes account to download a Japan-only free app. When I tried to sign back in, I got the message: "Verification Failed Your Apple ID or password is incorrect" error message. I have tried signing the account out of ALL of my devices, changing the password, restarting my iPhone, going into airplane mode, fiddling with the date, etc and it still isn't working.

 

I usually decline IOS updates, but when I checked on the software update tap, it says my software is up to date. Maybe I upgraded on the wrong account?
