Q: Hi I need to get rid of Albireo ads on my Mac book air OS X yosemite. Please help.

1. Safari > Preferences > Extensions

    Turn all extension off or disable them, then relaunch Safari to test.

    Turn those on one by one and test.

2. Safari > Preferences >  Search > Search Engine :

    Select your preferred   search engine.

3. Safari > Preferences > General > Homepage:

     Set your Homepage.

4. Finder > Applications

    If you find Albireo related app, right click it and choose “Move to Trash”.

    Empty the  Trash.

5. Use  free AdwareMedic / Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac to remove adware

   Install , open,  and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button   to remove adware.

   Once done, quit AdwareMedic.
