Q: I cannot uninstall quicktime from my windows 8.1 PC

I have tried several different solutions including going to programs and clicking uninstall (both just quicktime and all of Apple), I saw some other solutions when I Googled the issue but I am not a techie so was afraid I would mess up something.

Any suggestions?

Thank you, Klaus. Actually, I received a reply prior to yours with the suggestion that I install MicrosoftFixIt, which I did. That did the trick. But I am saving your reply as well in case I have a similar problem in the future. Thanks again!! Lyn F.

Windows users should uninstall Quicktime. How to do so is detailed here:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205771
Mac OS users should not do so as the security risks that have prompted this do not affect the Apple OS.
