Q: having trouble using machines with XSAN 4.1 and COMPRESSOR 4.2.2

Recently upgraded my XSAN SAN from 3 to 4.1 and ever since I can only see some of the Compressor machines (did a fresh install). We have a total of 8 XSERVE's - all on the same network (has both private (metadata) and public), but for whatever reason no one XSERVE sees all of the other machines running Compressor 4.2.2. For example:

XSERVE-1 sees X08

XSERVE-2 sees X08

XSERVE-3 sees X08

XSERVE-4 sees X01, X08

XSERVE-5 sees X01, X06, X08

XSERVE-6 sees X02, X03, and X05

XSERVE-7 sees X03, X06

XSERVE-8 sees doesn't see any machines at all

I try to toggle "Allow other computers to process batches" on one particular machine that appeared "Unavailable" in the list, it can cause all of the machines to appear from "Idle" as "Unavailable".

True to prior Compressor versions, "Enable automatic file sharing" is turned off on all machines since we're using the common SAN for storage over fibre channel. The Use network interfaces: All Interfaces is set.

All machines mount the storage no problem.

All machines are on the network since they have network servers mounted.

Any ideas what's going on here?
