Q: how do I cancel an approved ask to buy

Is there a way to cancel an approved ask to buy. I tried to delete the approved app from my sons phone but he can download it now without asking for permission. How can I stop this?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.1

Hi mschmall,
If you did not wish for your son to be able to purchase the app, contact the iTunes Store Support team. Another option is to hide the purchase. Here's how:
Report a problem with an item purchased from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store
