Q: Where are my apps? And trouble authorizing PC with new Apple ID?
Last January, I changed my AppleID to a new email address. But I think Apple still thinks I have the old email address.
So, I connected my iPhone to my laptop to back it up. I have not done so since late last year. When this happens, iTunes give me two choices: Set up as a new device or 2) restore from my backup, which was done last November. I don't want either; I want for iTunes to recognize my new phone, but iTunes will not do so.
I also noticed that even after logging in, the only apps that are showing are those under my old email name. And when I click on the app, my _old email_ is referenced. But I changed AppleID as indicated above. ( Furthermore, when I try to authorize the computer in my _new_ email, I get an error message saying authorization was not done.
