Q: iPod classic blinking black screen with white apple logo.
iPod classic blinking black screen with white apple logo. Will not charge when plugged into outlet or computer. Will not link to iTunes. When unplugged it has a triangle saying to connect to power. Battery not charged to try to reset.

To rule out a faulty USB docking cable that is not make properly contact for power, try a different cable.
You can try doing a Reset, as described here
Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support (see section iPod with a click wheel)
with the iPod connected to power. If that does not work (you don't see the Apple logo come up), it's because the iPod is not getting any power.
