Warranty periods aren't forever.
When your extended AppleCare ends in June, it ends.
There is no longer any other warranty coverage, your coverage will end.
Besides, you already paid Apple for your three year warranty period, anyways.
Before it ends, you might want to bring your Mac into an Apple Store for one last complete diagnosis/checkup and internal cleaning.
This is what I did before my 2009 iMac extended AppleCare ended.
