iPod

Q: Ipod classic stuck inlocked mode. Screen is on lock icon next to paus/play

I pod classic latest IOS but can't access at this time 30gb memory

Ipod classic stuck in locked mode. Screen is on lock icon next to pause/play icon

battery shows full, but I have my doubts

lock control is off but there is no response anywhere

FYI - iPod classic does not run iOS.  The only iPod that runs iOS is iPod touch.

 

Make sure the Hold switch is on the OFF position (no orange showing on switch).  If that does not make the on-screen lock symbol go away, do a Reset (restart) on the iPod

If you are unable to do a Reset, what happens when you connect the iPod to a computer running iTunes?
