Apple MusicForce restart your iPhone.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Then tap Settings > General > Software Update
If that doesn't help, make sure your Mac is running the latest version of iTunes.
You can do that by clicking your Apple top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click: App Store
After the App Store opens, select Updates from the menu top of the App Store window.

Apr 20, 2016 10:50 AM in response to stedman1by Rich Weider,That is vey strange because the Apple.com website states that a model A1387 is a 4S. How can that be wrong?
Specifically: at Identify your iPhone model - Apple Support
it states:
iPhone 4s
Year introduced: 2011
Capacity: 8, 16, 32, and 64 GB
Colors: Black and white
Model number on the back cover: A1431, A1387, A1387They are so certain, they state it twice : )

Apr 20, 2016 11:08 AM in response to Rich Weiderby stedman1,★HelpfulCorrect, the A1387 is indeed a 4S, the model number MD200LL/A is not. It would appear that the phone has been modified/repaired and a 4S back has been installed.

Apr 20, 2016 11:08 AM in response to stedman1by Rich Weider,★HelpfulThat is very unsettling. I recently purchased this iPhone from a reseller - repair store. They sold it as a 4S. I need to investigate this further. Thanks for the information.
