Q: Moving PDF files from iBooks to iCloud Drive.

I would like to move my PDF files that I have in iBooks to the iCloud drive so that they could be accessed from other apps like "PDF Expert".  Can anyone tell me if that is possible outside of emailing each PDF file to myself and then opening them in PDF Expert to then store on the iCloud Drive?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.2

    Hi Kendal0505,

If your profile information is correct, the only way you can get PDF files to automatically sync with your iCloud Drive is to update to iOS 9.3.1 and OS X 10.11.4.

Sync ePub, iBooks Author books, and PDF files with iBooks and iCloud

Use iBooks to sync ePub, iBooks Author books, and PDF files with iCloud Drive so that you can access them on all of your devices.

The first time that you open iBooks after you update to iOS 9.3 or OS X 10.11.4, you'll be prompted to use iCloud. If you don't see the prompt, you might need to set up iCloud Drive.

You can use iBooks and iCloud Drive to sync ePub, iBooks Author books, and PDF files so that you can access them on all of your devices. After you turn on iCloud Drive, all files automatically upload to iCloud*. Any ePub, iBooks Author book, or PDF file that you add to your iBooks library later also automatically upload to iCloud*.

    Take care,
