Q: Can a book produced in iPhoto be printed at home?
I have used the "Print a book" function of Aperture in the past with good results. Now, Aperture is getting very slow. So........
Can I use iPhoto to makle books and print them o my own printer?
I am using an early 2009 iMac with lots of free GBs and El Capitan.

You can save your Aperture Books or iPhoto Books as PDF files and print them on your own printer.
This link describes how to create a PDF file in iPhoto: Preview a print project in Photos or iPhoto to avoid issues - Apple Support
In iphoto you can also select your book and use the key combination ⌘P to print the book on your printer.
Or upload the book to Presto Photo. They claim to be able to print iPhoto Books.
