Q: How to delete from drive but not devices
Hi Y'all!
Ok, so I put some documents into my iCloud drive that I wanted to access from a different location, just temporarily.
Now I want to delete those items from iCloud drive but I get the warning it will then delete those items from my devices.
But I don't want that. I want to keep the items on my devices and only delete them from iCloud, as I don't need them there anymore and they're taking up space.
How can I do what I want to do? Or can't I do that? Seems to be a fairly simple request.....

Copy the items on each of your devices to a folder outside iCloud Drive, and only then delete the items from iCloud Drive,
iCloud Drive is a central storage and syncing service. An item that is only on iCloud Drive can no longer be accessed from other devices, if you delete it from the drive.
