If you want to use the exact GPS location se this user supplied script - Script: Extract the Numerical GPS Values Using an Apple Script
or use the script #6 compiled as an application from here - http://www.oldtoadstutorials.net/No.P01.html and enter the info the same way using the info window

Thanks. I used the old toad scrip #6 and it worked perfectly. Any clue as to why Apple would have removed the capability to copy and past gps data from photo to photo when they moved from iPhoto to Photos? Or, more to the point, any insight on whether that capacity will come back or not? Thanks again.

we are users just like you and have no more "insight" to the internal working of Appe than you do - and per the TOU speculation on Apple policies is forbidden here anyway so if someone did they would not discuss it here -- tell Apple what you what - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html
