Apr 24, 2016 5:58 PM in response to kamisha_vby Meg St._Clair,If you are connected to WiFi, you can use FaceTime which will enable you to call other iOS/Mac users. You can also install apps like Skype that will, for a fee allow you to all any phone numbers.
You don't need to go to the Apple Store to install apps on your phone. All the available apps are in the App Store. You can access it directly from your iPod.

Apr 25, 2016 12:56 PM in response to kamisha_vby renin77,You can also use walkie talkie-type apps, like Voxer, that allow you to speak to each other with the push of a button. It's much easier to do that, so a person can reply when they have a moment instead of trying to reach them by call. And it's easier to leave messages this way that are longer than a quick text.
