    I have El Capitan too.

When I tether my Canon 5d mk11 to import video clips, they seem import only as proxy files with the arrow on them. I can't find the actual files ?

Also, now when friends send me videos from their I-Phones I cant open them. I have QuickTime Player 10.4.

    Any advice please ???

For playing QuickTime player on your Mac OS X El Capitan, first you need to install it on your system. After installation, you can easily use it. Here is the guide of installing QuickTime in your Mac.
