Q: Get old version of Amazon Prime Music

Is there an older version of Amazon Prime Music App? Does anyone know where I could get it?

I have a iPod Touch, iOS version 6.1.6.   I think that is the latest for this iPod, which is fine.

I want to install the Amazon Prime Music app on this iPod, so I can download music and take it on a road trip.

When I try to download Amazon Music with Prime Music from iTunes, is says that it's not compatible with my iOs.

I think the solution would be: I want to install the previous version of Amazon Music app.

Does anyone know if this is available? How can I find the previous version of Amazon Music app?

The current version is 5.4.2

Thank you!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X

App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

YES! That was it. Seems like a weird secret handshake. I don't know why they make you download the program on a computer that you DON'T want it on, then you can download the version that actually works on the device that you want. If it's smart enough to figure it out AFTER that step, then iTunes should be smart enough to figure it out the first time you try to download it on the older iPod.

I was able to download the older version that worked,

    Muchas Gracias!
