Q: Double click in iTunes does not play song. Next song always plays.
Hi,
I have iTunes 12.3.3.17 on an iMac running Yosemite 10.10.5. I am having an odd problem where in iTunes, I double-click on one particular song but the next song plays. The next song that plays depends on whether or not I have shuffle set or not set. If shuffle is set, the next song is random. If shuffle is not set, then it is the next song in the album. I can double click on any other song in any list, and it will play. This is the only song I have found that will not play. It always jumps to the next song. I can be in a playlist. I can be in "My Music". When I double-click on this one song, the next song always plays. An odd thing happened when I was downloading this album from the iTunes store. My iMac ran into an unexpected error and rebooted itself. When I logged back in, things looked fine in that all the songs had downloaded. But I am running into this one issue with this one song. It is the first song in the album. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Good Morning Wilyd,
I understand you are having an issue with the first song from an album you downloaded from the iTunes Store. The easiest way to resolve the issue is to delete the song and redownload it from the iTunes Store. If the second attempt is not successful, then I'll include a link to the iTunes Store Support team so they can take a look at that particular file. Here's the information you need:
iTunes 12 for Mac: Delete songs, playlists, or other items
Report a problem with an item purchased from the iTunes Store
