iLife: System requirements - Apple Support

    iMovie 10.0.1

    • OS X Mavericks
    • 2 GB of memory (4 GB recommended)

You're running an outdated OS X version that iMovie 10 doesn't work with.

I'd update to El Capitan 10.11.4.

iMovie 10.1.1 is the latest update for iMovie though

Mavericks 10.9 and Yosemite 10.10 have been discontinued, so they're not in the App Store to download and install. The only way to get those OS X versions is to already have them installed on your Mac or have them tied to an Apple ID you own.

You also you need to import your clips into an iMovie event if you have not already. It would be another reason you can't Share them.

Okay thanks for your help, l have figured out that all clips are not fully imported yet, some are still sitting on the camera and when l hover over the camera it says i need to reimport from camera/archive in File Menu however l cannot find a reimport option.  Can you tell me how to do this.
