Q: Where do screen shots go?

They are saved to your Desktop by default unless you specify otherwise.

Save screenshots: After taking a screenshot, choose File > Save, enter a name, add a tag (optional), then choose a folder. Screenshots are saved as TIFF files.

If you have Dropbox installed, click on the menu bar, click on the gear, and select Preferences/Import. Make sure screen shots isn't checked.
