Apr 26, 2016 8:33 PM in response to Camwoodyby Kenichi Watanabe,If it has a grayish click-wheel (with integrated playback control buttons), it's a 4th gen iPod, and it works fine connected to USB on a Mac running the latest OS X and iTunes. However, the older 3rd gen iPod (with a touch-wheel and separate round control buttons) is also white and available at 20GB. A 3rd gen iPod needs to a FireWire connection to charge. I have both 3rd gen and 4th gen iPods, and they both work fine on my Mac mini running the latest OS X and iTunes.
