Q: Time-Machine Partition add unallocated space
Hi
I'm using Macbook Pro 15.4' Retina from Mid 2013
i have 2 questions about Time machine
1. i have an internal drive of 512Gb SSD and i bought a new External drive of 2TB HDD, how mach do i need to use for backing up my internal drive with time machine on the external drive ?
2. is it possible to take like 500 GB from the External drive (2TB) to use it as an second partition for some time and after few weeks to delete it and use the unallocated space and add it to the Time-Machine partition to complete it to 2TB without delete anything from the backup ?
thank u very much

1. At least 1GB.
2. Yes. Use the Disk Utility to partition the drive, and ensure that the 500GB partition is below the 1.5TB one in the list.
