Apr 28, 2016 8:42 AM in response to cjl58by Phil0124,Where on iCloud did you move it too?
Where are you expecting to find it on your iPad?
Generally speaking, if you place it in the Numbers folder in iCloud it should show up in the Numbers App on the iPad.
If you placed it outside of that folder, then it won't show up in Numbers, but you can move it there using the iCloud Drive App.

Apr 28, 2016 9:45 AM in response to cjl58by elcpu,Have you tried Airdropping it from your Mac directly to your iPad and thus bypassing iCloud? When I do it that way it prompts me on the iPad and I just select Numbers on the iPad.

Apr 28, 2016 10:08 AM in response to Phil0124by cjl58,The only way I know how to get to iCloud is on the Settings page. I don't have any iCloud "App" as such on my iPad. So, I entered that long URL in Safari and I got the Cloud picture but no list of folders and files.

Apr 28, 2016 10:14 AM in response to cjl58by elcpu,Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac - Apple Support
I use it all the time, works like a charm, a very good feature among Apple products. You can Airdrop pictures, spreadsheets, most files.....

Apr 28, 2016 11:22 AM in response to cjl58by LACAllen,You have to "turn on" the iCloud drive app in settings.
Also, make sure the version of Numbers on your iPad matches the iMac.

Apr 28, 2016 11:50 AM in response to LACAllenby cjl58,I have the iCloud drive app turned on in settings. The version of Numbers on my iMac is version 3.61. The version of the Numbers app on my iPad is 2.61. I don't think they can be the same versions as one is an OS X app and the other is an IOS app. When there is an update available I'm usually notified and it seems I have the latest version on my iPad.

Apr 28, 2016 1:39 PM in response to cjl58by Michael Black,★HelpfulOn your Mac, does the file have the upload icon beside it, or is it showing pending? Is your internet connection working correctly? It sounds to me like your Mac is not sync'ing up to iCloud, at least nor for that particular file yet. You can try to drag the file out of the numbers folder to your desktop, then drag it back in to initiate a sync. The folder you see in finder is actually a local folder on your computer that should then sync with the folder(s) in your iCloud space, but the sync may have had issues.

Apr 28, 2016 12:58 PM in response to Michael Blackby cjl58,The file does not have the upload icon beside it on my Mac. It shows it to be in my iCloud Numbers folder. My internet connection is working OK. I dragged the file out of the iCloud Numbers folder to my desktop because it wasn't in my Numbers folder on my iMac anymore. I had moved it from there to the ICloud folder. When I tried to dragging it back from my desktop to the iCloud numbers folder it wouldn't let me do that. It just stayed on my desktop. Very confusing.

Apr 28, 2016 1:33 PM in response to Michael Blackby cjl58,While I was waiting for your response I kept playing around and finally got the file in question to show up on my iPad. I had Safari opened to the iCloud site and tried dragging the file from my desktop directly into the iCloud - Numbers folder in Safari and it worked. Also, 2 other files I had tried to get onto my iPad earlier showed up also. I don't know why they didn't show up earlier.
