Q: iTunes wont recognize iPhone, tried every method known online. Help.

I've been syncing my iPhone 5s with my laptop for at least 5 months now and I've never come across a problem, until now. My iTunes won't synchronize my iPhone at all. I've tried multiple methods which i'll list below. I'm running out of ideas and obviously I can't live without music. Please help, I'd be SUPER grateful.

 

Used methods (Don't recommend);

Restarting iPhone (Logo will appear)

Restarting Laptop

Update drivers

Update iPhone and Laptop

Update iTunes

Repair iTunes

Authorize Computer

Uninstall iTunes, reinstall

Used multiple cables and USB ports.

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.1

    Exactly the same kind of problem I am having except that I have a ipod touch. I have tried most of the things you tried and nothing has worked and one of the biggest problems of all which is the most ridiculous is how I am not allowed to talk to apple support unless I know the serial number for my ipod touch which is ridiculous that I should have to know that when this is a itunes issue. So basically I am screwed. I wasted over 400.00 on a ipod touch so I could only get to use it for 2 months for itunes to completely and permanently refuse to recognize my ipod. I am very disappointed and angry at apple for their irresponsibility and and lack of knowledge in this situation. It seems to be a major occurrence for many people and yet nothing is being done to fix this major issue or if there is something being done it is taking too long! I better be able to get this problem resolved soon.

    I am in a better mood now! Sorry apple I go crazy when itunes messed with me. I need my music to keep me sane and calm.

    Also thanks to the guy named Joshua that helped me. It took about 45 minutes to resolve the issue but, it's resolved and I hope it stays that way and if not I should be able to fix this problem should it happen again in the future!
