As an Apple Music paying subscriber you have access to the entire Apple Music catalog of music and can listen to anything you want at any time you want. Picture it as sort of "renting" the music. The music is not "owned" by you, it is "used" by you. If you cancel your Apple Music membership you will lose the benefits of listening to the Apple Music catalog of music. If on the other hand you "Purchase" an album or song you "Own it", it is yours and it is downloaded to your iTunes music library. If you cancel your Apple Music membership you still own it, just like you purchased the CD from the store.

    Hi,

The amount of music available in Apple Music is considerable less than that available in the iTunes Store. Some artists / record company do not permit their music to be streamed. Whilst Adele's previously albums are available in Apple Music, "25" is not. So you will need to buy it from itunes Store.
