Q: How do you managing profiles with Profile Manager?

I'm trying to learn Profile Manager, and hope someone here can help me answer this question.  I feel like I understand how Configurator works.  I created a configuration profile in Configurator and installed it onto an iPad.  This test profile removed all the apps except Safari.  It works great and I can see it listed in the Device Management profile list within Settings.

Now I want to manage this iPad with Profile Manager.  I installed Profile Manager and have it running.  I'm able to enroll the iPad in Profile Manager and I'm able to do some basic management tasks like clear the passcode but I cannot see anywhere in the UI or documentation for Profile Manager any feature that actually lets me delete or alter configuration profiles installed on an iPad.  Am I missing some basic step or feature?  I would suspect in an app called Profile Manager, I'd be able to...you know...manage my configuration profiles.

Hopefully someone can help me answer this puzzling question.

I think of Device Groups essentially as profiles.  I made a Device Group called iPhone, and then use it to create settings, restrictions, etc.  Once you set these all up in their group, you can add devices to the group to "apply the profile", and remove them from the group to "delete the profile".

David explains the the way doing it from PM Admin Interface.

If you want to "manage" your profiles on the phone/pad, check:

Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management

Here you can see your installed profiles..and you can event delete them. (Thats why a password protection of the profiles is recommended imo)

But i would prefer David´s way, because I dont know if PM gets informed if a profile is deleted manually on the iOS device.

    Cheers!

How did you "remove all apps apart from Safari"?
