Thank you for your effort.
I however asked about folders. I copied a File Explorer folder with subfolders to my file explorer iCloud Drive on the computer. It took it but would not display on any of my other devices. It seems that iCloud Drive does not take folders. I was hoping of a workaround to make iCloud Drive useful. I note that other approaches like DropBox, take folders.
