Q: Browsers for my MacBook

Safari is what I use without any problems.

Chrome is a pig for resources. It also mines your personal data for Google benefit. For those reasons I don't even have it install on my Macs.

Have you tired using FireFox?

I do have it installed on my Mac for a couple of sites that don't work properly with Safari.

You might still be able to use Safari with some maintenance ...

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click:  Remove All Website Data then quit and relaunch Safari and try Collage.com.

I've used Chrome as a back up browser for years without any problems.

Chrome does have a requirement of OS X 10.9 Mavericks or later.

If you aren't sure which OS X is installed on your Mac, click the Apple  top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click:  About this Mac then make sure the Overview tab is selected. You should see the OS X version noted there.

What do you mean when you say to many cons?

If you are reference to reports of problems here, most of those are caused by the installation of bogus third party software.

If you have no load up your Mac with that then you will probably have no problems at all.
