Q: HELP! I can't install Final Cut :(

Hey guys! Will really appreciate it if someone can help me out!!

I got this when I was trying to install the programme. My computer has 3.9GB space and a total of 110.6GB of space, and this software requires 2.6GB of space. I'm wondering what could the problem be.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (Ver 10.10.5)

    Hi there.

     

    If you have less than 4.15 GB of free storage space available, you will need to move enough files from that drive to meet that requirement. You really need to have about 15% of your boot drive free in order to run the software well enough to evaluate it. Does your Mac meet the rest of the FCP X system requirements?

    If it does, then move sufficient files to another drive and give it another try.

    TThat's way way way too little space free. The system cannot operate properly. At an absolute minimum you should have 10% free drive space on the system drive.
