May 1, 2016 7:15 PM in response to Worldteacherby Niel,★HelpfulMac OS X 10.10.3 and newer include Photos, which is intended as a replacement for iPhoto. If you'd like to go on using iPhoto in addition to or instead of switching to Photos, click here and try following the instructions; you'll only be able to do so if you previously got iPhoto from or associated it with the Mac App Store.

May 1, 2016 8:59 PM in response to Worldteacherby LarryHN,No - iPhoto must be version 9.6.1 to work -so unless you have it you can not use iPhoto if you migrate to Photos your photos and your oranization will be available but you will be using a new and different program which like all new applications has a learning curve - take the initial overview and read the help topics to get started and post questions here
