Q: iTunes track not syncing
I recently purchased and downloaded a song off of iTunes. When I move it the shuffle, the playlist does not recognize the track and skips directly over it. Resetting the device, removing from library, making a new playlist and repurchasing have all failed so far. iTunes shows that syncing is complete, but it is ONLY the one track that is an issue.How do I fix this?
iPod shuffle, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

There may be general data corruption on the shuffle. Try doing a Restore on the shuffle using iTunes. This erases the shuffle, reinstalls its software, and sets it to default settings. You said previously that you "reset the device," but I don't know if that was a Restore.
After the Restore, I would initially only load that one song (that has this problem) and see if it still skips.
