However, this is only necessary if you created a new Apple ID. If you changed the Apple ID because you got a new email address, the old apps should still be associated with that ID,

SO bear with me. Alright so if that's the case how would I know if any of my apps with old email? I really don't think any are. But how
can I check? The problem is when I try to update my apps. It shows my old email. I did everything they Suggested.
put in my email address but then it requires me to get new password. I even went and made sure my email was the same in other things. But still won't work. I don't know what to do.

If you got a new email address, you don't have to create a new Apple ID, you just have to update the ID to reflect the new email address. This explains how to change your Apple ID.

If you simply changed the ID, you should be able to update the apps using the updated ID. You should follow all of the steps in this support article.

If you created an entirely new Apple ID, then you will not be able to update the apps that you bought with the old ID because purchases are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase.
