Q: Airdrop

I am trying to share contacts between two iPhones (6 plus and SE respectively) and airdrop works seamlessly from SE to 6 plus with no problems.

However, when I try to copy a contact the other way, airdrop appears to work as the 6 plus prompts me to accept the new contact, BUT it doesn't actually appear and can't be saved.  What am I doing wrong?

    Hello faithshoebury,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are having some issues with using Airdrop to get contacts from your iPhone SE to your 6+. Have you tried a different contact? There might be something with that specific contact. If it happens with other contacts, I would start by reviewing the following article to make sure that everything is set up correctly on both phones. It is also a good idea to make sure that the software on both phones is up to date.

How to use AirDrop with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If after making sure everything is set up correctly, it is still not working as expected. I would then turn off AirDrop on your 6+ and restarting the iPhone and then setting it up again.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If still not working, do the same thing with a force restart instead of a simple restart.

If necessary, you can do the same things with the SE.

    Best regards.

What happens if you go to Settings > iCloud > and turn Contacts to ON on both phones? Do the contacts sync automatically as they should?
