iPhone

Q: Iphone wont ring

My iPhone 6 goes to voicemail instead of ringing. I've changed a couple settings and now it vibrates but doesn't ring, what do I do?

iPhone 6, I dont know the operating system

Do you have Do Not Disturb turned on? If so turn it off.

If you look in the Phone app, under Recent, do you see the missed call? If you do, chances are that either the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode (crescent moon in the status bar), signal is too weak for the phone to ring, or you have the phone set to not actually ring.

I figured out how to get it off of do not disturb but it still wont ring, they do show up under recent, I tried changing my ring tone even.

Make sure that the slide switch on the side near the volume buttons does not show the orange bar (which would be Silent mode, and would vibrate only). Also check the ringer volume to ensure that it isn't all the way down.
