Q: Re: Audio on iPhones

Hi..

Hearing impaired by too many ear infections as a child for hearing aids to work for me.

Are there any audio apps for the iPhone that can make audio clearer?

All suggestions welcome!

    Carolyn:

I am hearing impaired in both ears. The sound in my right ear is very similar to that coming out of a blown speaker. That is, the sound is very "muddy" or unclear. I wear Starkey Halo i110s.

My hearing aids cannot make unclear sound clearer. All hearing aids can do is make sound louder.

I am afraid the possibility of an app making sound clearer is likely quite low.

There is one app I have found that helps with music - SoundFocus (SoundFocus). You tune it to your hearing with headphones, earbuds or external speakers. I use it when I am on an airplane.

I got an email from Apple that they removed my post about tunity.***.  Did you see it???????  It's fantastic.  Free streaming to your hearing aids from many channels!!

    Sorry I'm late in replying.

I'll definitely give SoundFocus a try!
