Q: Compatibility with Windows 10

I have a late 2008 Mac BookPro and I run Windows 7 (via Boot Camp). Windows keeps telling me to update to Windows 10, but I thought in the past I was advised that my model Mac was not compatible with Windows 10. Is that still true?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Your Mac is not on the list. Turn off the update system within Windows if you can.

Some users have reported that they were able to upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10, but not do a new Install of Windows 10 on Macs not on the directly-supported list.
