May 7, 2016 3:54 PM in response to Gallacciby a brody,Why are you using ExFAT?
If the point is moving data back and forth between a Mac and PC, networking may be a better option.
You won't be able to install a Mac operating system on it with ExFAT loaded.

May 7, 2016 4:13 PM in response to a brodyby Gallacci,I can't use the network. Here in Italy the infrastructure is not good enough to do so. I just don't know why it doesn't work, I have another MacBook (Mac ) and a Windows computer and it goes perfectly.I think it's the latest firmware because I noticed that it doesn't read a Trekstor HDD with the adapter ( it has always worked fine until a couple weeks ago ). If it's really as firmware problem I hope apple knows about it

May 8, 2016 3:36 AM in response to Gallacciby W. Richard Glendon,I agree, it might be more than a coincidence.
But Apple won't hear about it or fix a problem until you tell them. Here is a link: http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html
Apple is not likely to see your post here.
