May 7, 2016 4:26 PM in response to aidenladby stedman1,Only your usage of the computer determines the battery cycle count. As a guess, it would seem you normally charge to 100%, then unplug it, use it and recharge. If this is an accurate description of your usage, that would be the reason.

If you generally use the computer near an AC outlet, leave it connected to AC. If you need portability, use battery. All batteries are consumable items and will deteriorate over time. Apple batteries are rated to have 80% of capacity at 1000 cycles, some users will get more of a life, others less.
