Q: Video Files Pasted/Exported onto USB or Hard-drive Twice?

Hey all,

When I download a video or export some of my own and put them onto a USB Flash-Drive to connect to my Samsung Smart Curved TV, instead of only one video that works on the USB, there's two files. One that says: "The selected format can't be read" and another which plays just fine.

This is frustrating as instead of only 40 videos on my USB, I have 80. And half don't work, which is hard to navigate as it only shows 8 videos per screen on the TV.

*****This problem did not occur when the USB was formatted for WINDOWS ONLY, it has started ever since I erased and reset it as MS-DOS FAT*****

Thank you!

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

These files are not additional video files, they are Mac system files, they are hidden on a drive formatted as Mac OS X but are visible when the drive is formatted as DOS.

I  remove these files before sending out video to clients on USB memory drives using an application called Clean Eject, its a free and is download from here:    Clean Eject
