Q: Installing windows 8.1 on a Mid 2011 iMac

Heyyy,

I am trying to install windows onto my Mid 2011 iMac.

I have bought windows 8.1 over the internet and it is a download, .iso file.

So far I have read a few forums and I have worked out that my iMac requires me to  burn this file onto a DVD, which i have done.

I am still finding that Bootcamp is not finding the windows .iso, even once i have burnt it to DVD.

Is there something i am missing?
