Q: Contacts groups

When I create a group in contacts, I am unable to add more than one contact to the group. If I try to do this, it erases the first contact and replaces with the new one. In addition, it creates a duplicate of the contact card. I would appreciate any help!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

You can hold the Command key when adding to groups or create a Smart group.

Thanks! I had tried the smart group and that would not work either. However, I went through iCloud and added the group there. It then showed up in my contacts folder.
