Q: I have an iMac
I have an iMac 21.5 Mid 2011 with a 2.7 GHz Intel core i5. 16 GB memory and 1 tb capacity. I'm running OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.4.
My problem is that a couple of days ago my system started running very slow. It takes 60 plus seconds to open a program or file while the beach ball spins.
I have 98 GB free but all the space that is being used is listed as "other" (yellow color) and not the typical breakout of movies, photos, Apps, etc.
I haven't tried anything yet. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.
