Often, users really have a modem/router or gateway device that has been supplied by their Internet Service Provider (ISP), which looks like the example illustrated below:
The Guest Network will not work correctly with a modem/router or gateway.
So, before we try to make changes on your AirPort router that might enable the Guest Network feature correctly, we need to make sure that they type of modem that you have will be compatible with the AirPort router.
Please post back with the make and model number of the device that you likely call your "modem", so we'll know how to proceed.

May 9, 2016 6:41 AM in response to Mableymo18by Bob Timmons,After re-reading your post, you may need to say that you already have a Guest Network up and running, and devices can connect to it correctly......but you don't remember the wireless password for the Guest Network. Is that a possibility?

No, you don't have to reset your whole system. You should be able to log into your base station, Wireless tab and change the Guest Network password.
You may also need to go to your devices that use the Guest Network and Forget the network then re-select it and login using the new password.
