Q: ITunes crashes when connects to my IPad

My ITunes crashes when it connects to my IPad (both wirelessly and via USB).  Does anybody know why or has experienced this?  When I open ITunes and it finds my IPad because its on the same network, ITunes will crash.  ITunes will also crash when I connect my IPad via USB to my computer.  If I turn off WiFi on the IPad and not connect it via USB, ITunes will work fine.  But once I turn on WiFi or connect it via USB, ITunes will crash.  So I can't sync.  Using ITunes 12.3.3.17 and IPad running iOS 9.3.1

    Hi AznRocka,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that iTunes is becoming unresponsive when your iPad is connected and we know how frustrating situations like this can be.

In this situation, to begin troubleshooting, I suggest reading over and working through the suggested steps in the following article.

    Cheers!

I had already tried all of those troubleshooting suggestions prior to posting and none of them worked.  Any other suggestions?  I even tried a reset and restoring my IPad.  Still crashing my ITunes.  I'll try reinstalling ITunes.

Thanks for responding with this information.

The next troubleshooting I suggest is to completely remove iTunes and all of its related components from your computer and then install it fresh. These steps can be found in the following article.

Remove iTunes and its related components from the Control Panel

Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:

    1. iTunes
    2. Apple Software Update
    3. Apple Mobile Device Support
    4. Bonjour
    5. Apple Application Support 32-bit
    6. Apple Application Support 64-bit

On some systems, iTunes might install two versions of Apple Application Support. This is expected. If both are present, be sure to uninstall both versions.

Don't uninstall these components in a different order, or only uninstall some of them. Doing so might have unintended effects. After you uninstall a component, you might be prompted to restart your computer. Wait to restart your computer until you're finished removing all of the components.

    Best!
