Q: step count accuracy
How accurate is the step count? Does it count moving your arm as a step count?

Hi
When tracking your activities - including steps taken - during general daily wear, the Activity app relies on data from the built-in accelerometer. The watch measures and interprets your arm movements, translating them into steps and other estimations (calories, exercise, distance, etc).
For the best results, allow the arm on which you are wearing your watch to swing naturally as you walk.
For more accurate results, calibrate your watch. Calibration teaches your watch how your arm movements relate to your stride lengths at different speeds when you are walking and/or running. It does this by comparing data from the accelerometer with GPS (Location Services) data from your iPhone.
