Q: Apple TV 2 - all of my apps are completely gone! No help after restore and reset.

I turned on my ATV 2 to see all of my apps gone!

Did a reset and a full restore and do not see any apps.

Error message saying ICloud is unavailable. 2 days later, still don't see anything.

Warranty finished and interestingly enough I start having this issue AFTER a new Apple TV is released.

Your ATV is not connected to the internet. Those apps are built-in, but they require internet connection to work.

There are some more suggestions here Re: I just replugged in my AppleTV and ow it is stuck on the screen with computers and settings. How do I get to all of my apps so I can watch something?
